IMPROVEMENT COMMITTEE MEETING:

 

Would y’all be interested in a:

 

“Monthly Get Acquainted Social”?

 

They could be geared towards the introduction of new residents, as well as all other socially interested residents, to our New Lake Forest Community life style, and club activities.

 

The venue would be our present:

 

Monthly Improvement Committee Meetings

 

Featuring:  Coffee & Cake/Cookies, which shall be generously provided by the Lake Forest Yacht & Country Club, and sponsored and hosted by the Improvement Committee, along with representatives from each of the interested organizations and activities. 

 

Hosts shall:

 

  • Welcome all new residents
  • Introduce themselves and their clubs
  • Answer questions, and listen to suggestions

 

We already have the first Tuesday of each month set aside for our regularly scheduled meetings.

 

ALL WE NEED IN ADDITION TO THIS IS:

 

  • Start immediately
  • Advertise these new, “Get Acquainted Socials & Improvement Committee Meetings” in the Spectrum newspaper, and the present web site (and in the NEW web site when it comes on line), on a continuous basis.
  • Warmly introduce ourselves to our new neighbors and to each other, and Encourage Everyone To Participate in helping make the Lake Forest Community the most cordial and caring community in all Lower Alabama.
  • Keep attending our meetings and making suggestions for our continuing improvement.

 

I’d even bet it could be FUN!
