Women’s morning tennis social set for Friday February 17

The Lake Forest racquet club is having a ladies morning tennis social on Friday February 17th at 9:00am.  The fee is 5 dollars. It will be round robin format lasting until about noon.  Drinks and light food will be provided.  To sign-up call the pro shop at 626-4515.

Social Tennis Play 3 Times a Week

The Sr. men would like to invite everybody out to play on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays starting at 9:00 am for the month of February.   Men and Women of all ages and skill level are invited.  If you are not a member the cost is a 5 dollar guest fee.

 WORLD TEAM TENNIS LEAGUE COMES TO AREA

World Team Tennis has come to the area and Lake Forest has put together a team.  It is the first season the matches are played on Thursday nights, for a schedule of home matches call the pro shop at 626-4515.  There will be another league starting up in the summer so if you are interested keep tuned to the spectrum for more details as we get closer to the summer.

4:00 pm – peewee clinic

5:00 pm – junior beginner clinic

6:30 pm -  men’s night

New league policy in effect

The league policy for Racquet Club non-members is in effect.  The new policy is as follows.  Any non-member will be able to play on a league one time for a fee per year.  The fees are 25 dollars for a LFPOA member and 50 dollars for a non LFPOA member.  If the person then decides to join the fee will be credited toward a racquet club membership.  If the person decides not to join then he or she cannot play on a Lake Forest tennis league for the rest of the year.
