The Lake Forest Tennis Association is having a tennis social on May 21st and everyone is invited to play.
This will be the Century Tournament, a mixed doubles affair where the
combined ages of the partners should equal 100 or more. However, it's
only a game, so if you and your partner are not old enough to make a
hundred, you can still play. We'll just slap a small handicap on you. All skill levels are
invited. There will be a $10 fee which will go to the improvement of
the club. There will be a drawing for door prizes so that everyone can
leave a winner. Be sure to call the Racquet Club at 626-4515 to make your
reservation. This is a mixed doubles event but, who knows, we may
decide to play a few men's or women's only matches.
There will be drawings for prizes supplied by some of our sponsors. Thank you to the businesses who have provided support for the event. We encourage our players to patronize these fine folks. |
