Candidates for the Board of Directors

Here are the biographies of the four candidates for the vacant Lake Forest Property Owner’s Association Board of Director seats, three 3-year terms and one 1-year term.  Copies of the candidates’ complete biographies are on file at the LFPOA Country Club office.  The Board of Directors will be elected during the annual meeting of the LFPOA on October 20, 2003.


 Pamela H. Dimoff

Pamela has lived in Lake Forest for eleven years.  One of her reasons for moving from Mobile to Lake Forest was so that her children could have the benefit of the Baldwin County School System.  Pamela has served on various committees throughout the years.  She describes herself as a bit hyper and believes in making things happen more quickly than is sometimes possible.  In other words, she likes to make things happen and not let them drag on.  Pamela has used nearly all of the facilities in Lake Forest.  Pamela and her husband own and operate a fishing charter business out of Dauphin Island.  Pamela has also been in the homebuilding business for the past two years.  She says she has the time and desire to serve the Association.  She has been a board member since February and chairs the Building and Grounds Committee as well as the Recreation and Activities Committee.


 Ken Eslava

Ken is currently Public Works Director for the City of Daphne.  He has lived in Lake Forest for two years.  He has 29 years of experience in the mechanical engineering field, specializing in the industrial sector.  His strengths include mechanical and piping engineering design, purchasing and project management and capital expenditures.  Basically, he has an interest in the maintenance of our common amenities and in the growth and preservation of our subdivision.


Dennis Ivanjack

Dennis and his wife, Marsha, have been residents in Lake Forest for the past two years.  Dennis worked in the motion picture industry for thirty-five years as a set painter.  He was a union steward for Local 729 of the IATSE for thirteen years.  Dennis was a delegate for the International and District Two Conventions for seven years.  Since moving into Lake Forest, Dennis has become involved in the community.  In the recent past he has been vice president of the Men’s Golf Association, “MGA”, and currently is on the M.G.A. Board and a frequent visitor to the Yacht Club.  Dennis supports most club activities and is also a member of Celebration United Methodist Church of Daphne.  He is currently a member of the Board and serves as chairman of the Greens Committees.


Edwin A. Kirby

Ed has had a successful career in electrical contracting and maintenance for thirty-seven years as business owner and president of Kirby Electric Service, Inc.  He has an impressive community service background consisting of the following:  head of the Code Enforcement Department, past chairman and present member of the Daphne Planning Commission and vice president of the Daphne-Spanish Fort Kiwanis Club.  Ed has been a Lake Forest property owner since 1979.  He is an advocate of deed restricted communities whose primary concerns are preserving property values, amenities and enhancing the standard of living in Lake Forest community.  Ed formerly served the Lake Forest property owners as president of the Board of Directors.
