Watershed Meeting

A coalition group has been formed to address problems of the Lake Forest Watershed, which culminates in our lake before entering Mobile Bay. There will be a meeting on JULY 15, 4-7 PM in the Forest Room in the Clubhouse. This group has been formed, at our urging, by the Mobile Bay National Estuary Program, and includes the Corps of Engineers, ADEM, the Cities of Daphne and Spanish Fort, Baldwin County, and the State of Alabama. It will include representatives of the Governor's office and State and Federal legislative staffs. The meeting will be in the form of a workshop to offer a variety of observations and ideas. Residents of Lake Forest are encouraged to attend.
