Hello everyone,

On Wednesday, November 9, the University of South Alabama Athletics Department has arranged for a special evening of a men's basketball at the Mitchell Center.   First off at 5:30 p.m. will be the University of South Alabama vs. University of Mobile.  At approximately 7:15 or 30 minutes following the first game, the University of Alabama will play Springhill College. All proceeds from this event will be donated to the South Alabama and South Mississippi chapters of the Salvation Army to benefit the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

As most of you know, the Salvation Army plays an important role when disaster hits.  They were first on the scene after the storm in Gulfport, Biloxi, Bayou LaBatre offering food and necessary items.

Anyhow, the coaches of University of Mobile, USA, Springhill, and University of Alabama came up with this idea of a great basketball event to help those in need through the Salvation Army.  Ticket prices are $5.00 per person and will be mailed to you.  All I need is the following information:

Number of tickets , Your name, address, phone, e-mail address

Method of payment:  I can take a charge card:  Visa, Master Card, Discover or a personal check.  For the credit card, I'll need your number and expiration date.

I have a deadline for ticket orders as of October 31.  Those of you that are coming to Tiffany's shower can place your order then.  If you wait until the October 25 meeting at the Yacht Club, I can take orders then as well.  Or, you can just give me a call at 626-7742.

If you can't make it to the game but would like to purchase tickets anyway as a donation to Katrina Relief, your tickets will be used for the many boys and girls groups we have in the area so they can see a basketball game.
