Yesterday (Thursday 8/3/06) the Eastern Shore Flotilla of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary (USCGA)presented 2 awards at the Lake Forest Yacht Club and Marina.

In the first picture: Debbie Waite (Lake Forest Yacht Club Manager) received a partner certificate designating the Lake Forest Yacht Club and Marina as U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Partners from Flotilla Commander Tom Klope.

In the second picture: Chris Bailey (Lake Forest Marina Harbor Master) received a Certificate of Appreciation from Flotilla Commander Tom Klope for his exceptional assistance in support of the day of Recreational Boater's Vessel Safety Checks that were held at the marina on Saturday July 22nd.

The Lake Forest Yacht Club and Marina, as USCGA Partners, will be able to distribute various forms of boating safety information as well as information about USCGA sponsored safety classes.  The USCGA liaison to the Lake Forest Yacht Club and Marina is Lake Forest resident and USCGA mamber Bob Trachsler.
