“Good Ole Girl Award”

and Susan Green

On Tuesday, December 6th at our December Improvement Committee meeting our “Median Man” came up with and passed out Long Stemmed Red Roses to the lovely ladies who were the first recipients of the “Good Ole Girl Award”.

These awards were presented to the ladies pictured below for service “over and beyond the call of duty” in service to the Lake Forest Community.  Each of these ladies “in their own way” worked very hard on various projects and committees to improve the beauty, image and lifestyle of Lake Forest as well as promote a sense of community pride, friendship and cooperation, not to mention property values.

As there are many, many more who have also given so much to Lake Forest, look for future “Good Ole Girl Awards” in coming issues of the Spectrum.  If you see a friend or neighbor doing something special, take a snap shot, write it up and bring to Alisa at the main office to be published in future issues.  P.S.  remember the January Improvement Committee meeting is January 5th at 6:30pm.  We will have very special guests as mentioned else where in this issue.

By the way, it was “Median Man” who came up with the name “Good Ole Girl” as he is young enough to get away with it.

Have a Wonderful New Year!
