LFPOA AWARDS SCHOLARSHIPS

LFPOA Scholarship Chairman, Carl Kauffman reports that eleven graduates applied for our LFPOA scholarships this year.  Each of the five recipients received $1000 to further their education.  The scholarship committee comprised six people:  an engineer, two science teachers, an art teacher, a computer technology person, and a music/PE teacher.  The selection of the five recipients was based on grades, class standing, school/community involvement, need, and adherence to the instructions.

Weighted rankings were used to select 5 recipients.  They are, in alphabetical order:
